I'm not sure if many users still browse these forums because it seemed to be down for a little bit, but after ~7 years of keeping a FW aquarium I am finally in a position to go to SW.

I have managed to move into a home with an unfinished basement where I will ultimately be doing a 180-220 gal. display build.

Since the build will most likely take a long time, I was wondering if it would be beneficial to try a 29gal biocube to get comfortable with keeping a SW setup.

Any recommendations or past experiences would be greatly appreciated.
